The Allies of world WAR ll were the countries that opposed the axis powers during the war. They became involved because they had already either been invaded or were directly threatened with the invasion by the Axis or that they would control everything. After 1941, the leaders of the British Empire, Soviet Union and U.S known as "the big three" Were; Joseph Stalin, Franklin. D. Roosevelt and Winston Churchill.
